This Cookie Policy explains how Northgate Construction uses cookies and similar technologies on its website at northgate-construction.co.uk, what they do, the choices available to you and how to manage them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains in more detail how we handle personal data.

2. Our approach

We aim to use the smallest number of cookies necessary to operate the website and to provide a secure, functional experience. We do not use advertising cookies, behavioural profiling, third-party analytics that build a long-term profile of you, or social-media tracking pixels.

3.1 Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential to operate the website. They cannot be switched off in our system. They are usually set in response to actions you take, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in, filling in forms, or requesting services. You can configure your browser to block these cookies, but parts of the site will then not function.

• Session and routing cookies set by our hosting provider to load pages correctly and protect against attack.
• Preferences — small flags stored in your browser to remember preferences such as accepted cookie notices.

3.2 Payment cookies (third party — Stripe)

When you proceed to the checkout for one of our project packages, you are taken to a page operated by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. Stripe sets cookies on its checkout page that are necessary for fraud prevention, fraud-risk scoring and to operate the payment process. Stripe is the data controller in respect of those cookies. 3.3 Cookies we do not use

We do not currently use:

• Advertising cookies or advertising network tags;
• Behavioural profiling cookies;
• Cross-site tracking pixels (Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, X/Twitter Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, etc.);
• Third-party analytics platforms such as Google Analytics in any configuration that allows third-party use of the data.

If this changes in future we will update this policy and, where required, request your consent first.

4. Your choices

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

• See which cookies are stored and delete them individually;
• Block third-party cookies;
• Block cookies from particular sites;
• Block all cookies from being set;
• Delete all cookies when you close your browser.

You can also opt out of certain third-party advertising cookies (where they are used on other sites you visit) through the Your Online Choices tool.

5. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is no agreed industry standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals, so our website does not currently change behaviour based on the DNT signal. Because we do not use advertising or profiling cookies, this has no practical effect on how you are tracked.

6. Children

The website is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly use cookies to collect information from children.

7. Changes to this Cookie Policy

If we change the way we use cookies, this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date at the top revised. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
